An Opportunity for a Lifetime Investment!
(in this world and the next)
In "Eilu Devarim" from davening each morning, we recite a well-known mishna listing hachnosas kallah as one mitzvah of a select few which benefit a person both in this world and the next. There are other sources which indicate that doing the mitzvah of hachnosas kallah provides a person with extraordinary personal benefits, such as assisting one in finding a spouse, being blessed with children, and being saved from a life-threatening illness.
Even without the added bonus of receiving personal benefits, the importance of this mitzvah is clear:

There is no greater tzedakah than marrying off poor brides - hachnosas kallah."

Our Goal
For this reason, the Future Kallahs Tehillim Team decided that we wanted to raise money together to sponsor a wedding for an orphan kallah as a zchus for all of our members to find a shidduch. We took upon ourselves, bli neder, to try to raise the money to pay for an entire wedding.
The Outcome
After months and months of fundraising, our efforts and tefillos finally paid off and an amazing thing happened:

You donated, you called, you emailed, you networked, and you davened so that our group should have the zchus to sponsor a wedding for an orphan kallah and bring her tremendous simcha.
With gratitute to Hakadosh Baruch Hu I am pleased to announce that, not only did we meet our goal in order to sponsor the entire wedding, but thanks to all of YOU and to the very generous tzaddik who anonymously matched dollar for dollar all of the funds we raised before December 31st, we actually raised MORE THAN DOUBLE THAT AMOUNT! Even before the dollar for dollar matching we raised enough on our own to reach our original goal, but now our efforts have paid off double and we are sponsoring TWO couples to start off their lives together in Eretz Yisroel!
Yasher koach to you all!
May we share in many, many more simchas and continue to inspire and be inspired."

And if that wasn't amazing enough, then this happened:
BIG NEWS!
On January 1st I emailed you all with the AMAZING news that we B"H actually fundraised more than double our goal to be able to help sponsor a wedding for an orphan kallah. I am overjoyed to be writing to you now to inform you that, B"H, we have now more than TRIPLED it! That's right, with Hashem's help and all of your efforts, the Future Kallahs Tehillim Team will now be sponsoring THREE weddings for orphan kallahs! May it be a HUGE zchus for everyone in this group!
:) :) :) (That's 3 smiles for 3 weddings sponsored - chazakah!)"

The Aftermath - Mitzvah Goreres Mitzvah
Several kallahs in need of assistance have contacted us since our last fundraising initiative (thanks to Halacha For Today and the Hillygram for helping us get the word out).
In light of this, the Future Kallahs Tehillim Team has now started its own Bridal Fund. Donations to this fund will iy"H go towards kallah grants to help not only orphans but also ba'alei teshuva and all those in need who do not have full parental support.
